Biking down the Weinstrasse

Once a year the Germans close off some roads to cars and reserve it for bikers in some areas. This year we went down to the old German wine road and biked a few kilometers and stopped a few times along the way to sample the grapes....and wine. The stretch we were on was about 80 kilometers long, although we didn't make it quite that far :) I think just for this stretch, they average about 250,000 people out on bikes for the day.
